Esses ainda precisam de acabamento. Eles também terão bordadinhos com os sequins, assim como as boinas. =P

I L-O-V-E to knit with this yarn! I know, I already said it a thousand times... but it's impossible not to love. You can knit 10 sweaters with the same yarn ball, and have 10 different sweaters. And who doesn's like unique things? haha
This ones still need to be finished. They will have sequins, like the berets.

Changing Patterns, Same Yarn.

Lembram quando ganhei ESTA lã da Monika? E lembram que comecei a fazer ESTE xale com ela? Pois é... isto foi em abril deste ano.

Aí eu tricotei metade do Gail e parei por causa de outros projetos...

Dia desses, resolvi pegar no xale de novo e... quem disse que eu me achei?

Não anotei a carreira que parei, contei e recontei os pontos, perdi mais de hora tentando achar qual carreira eu devia tricotar para dar seguimento, mas... não teve jeito.

Me enfureci e desmanchei tudinho.

Aí, me deu um desânimo de começar o Gail tudo de novo...

Então fui para o Ravelry, e, depois de olhar e analisar inúmeras receitas, decidi que ia fazer um Swallowtail Shawl.

Estou a ponto de iniciar a "Lily of the Valley Border", logo logo estará pronto.

E, quer saber?

Estou achando que este fio caiu melhor nessa receita do que no Gail que estava fazendo antes =)

Do you remember when Monika send me THIS handspun yarn? And do you remember that I started knitting THIS shawl with it? So... that happened last April.

I've knitted half of Gail Shawl, and stopped because another projects.

These days, I decided to finish it, but... who knows which row I stopped??

I didn't make a note about where I stopped in the pattern. I counted and recounted the stitches, but I couldn't find which row was next.

I got really angry because of it, so I ripped back it all, and I made a big yarn ball again.

Start Gail again seemed so boring to me...

So I oppened the Ravelry page on my computer, and after a little searching, I decided to knit a Swallowtail Shawl.

I'm going to start the "Lily of the Valley Border" now, and it will be finished very soon.

And, you know what?

I think this yarn fits better with this pattern than the first one. =)

Something Yellow...

Algumas pessoas não gostam dessa cor. Mas eu adoro!

Há tempos eu tinha comprado esses novelos amarelos para fazer uma blusa pra mim, mas não achava uma receita que eu achasse que ia ficar bem com a cor.

Caso resolvido com uma das minhas novas revistas Phildar.

Amei o modelo assim que vi e comecei o projeto no mesmo dia... e já está quase pronto!

Falta só terminar uma manga e já vou pra costura =)

Some people don't like this color. But I do!

A time ago I had bought this yellow yarn for a sweater, but I didn't find a cool pattern for it.

That's was solved when my Phildar Magazine got here.

I loved that model at the time I saw it, so I started the project at that day... and it's almost done!

I just have to finish the second sleeve and then sew pieces together =)

Final de semana passado eu comecei, tardiamente, o meu projeto misterioso.

Fiquei um tempão pensando sobre qual fio usar, se seria necessário blocar ou não, se devia comprar um fio 100% lã invés de usar fio acrílico como indica na receita...

Depois de muito pensar, resolvi que, se tinham indicado o fio Cristal, que é 100% acrílico, era pq seria o melhor a ser usado para o projeto e pronto.

Comprei o fio Cristal num tom Rosa Pink (amo!) e comecei meu projeto.

Resultado: Não gostei.

.

Terminei a 1° parte e comecei a 2° só de teimosia mesmo.

A questão é que não estou gostando de como está ficando. O problema não é o fio, nem o projeto, mas sim os dois juntos... rsrsrs...

.

Por mais apertado que eu esteja fazendo o ponto, está ficando aberto demais. O fio é fininho demais para a agulha indicada. Geralmente isso não é problema para um Xale, já que, quanto mais lacear, melhor. Masssss.... esse fio é acrílico puro. O Xale vai lacear e eu não conseguirei blocar. Com 1 parte pronta, eu já notei que ele está se "retorcendo" e os desenhos não estão ficando no lugar... e ficariam só depois de uma blocagem, que no caso desse fio não vai acontecer... aiai... que tristeza!

.

Por este motivo, vou desmanchar tudo!

Vou comprar outro fio e começar tudo de novo!

Vai ser outro fio acrílico, mas um pouco mais grossinho. Eu vi o Projeto da Sandra (Tricô e mais Tricô), ela fez com o Kalú e está ficando bem direitinho. Acho que com um fio para Bebê vai dar mais certo...

Só espero conseguir uma cor parecida com esse pink...

I started this project last weekend, but I'm not liking the way it's turning out.

It's a shawl, and the pattern suggestion was a 100% acrylic yarn, so I thought it was not necessary to block it after.

.

I were using this yarn, but after some rows I realized that it was getting too lacey, the yarn was too thinner for this needles, what would require blockage, but because it's acrylic, I couldn't make it... that's sad!!!

.

Because it, I'm gonna buy another yarn for this project, and start ir again.

I just hope find a yarn color like this pink.

The picture is the one I didn't like.

Pois é gente... ao invés de eu terminar os trabalhos, fico acumulando mais trabalhos não acabados. Estão todos em andamento, claro... um dia faço um... no outro dia faço outro... e assim eu vou indo.

Para a Babette Blanket faltam 23 quadrados pequenos para começar as emendas.

Acredito que dentre estes, vou terminar o Tudora primeiro porque é uma peça pequena. É provável que eu poste este trabalho ainda esta semana.

Todos estes trabalhos estão dentre os meus projetos lá no Ravelry, caso alguém queira saber exatamente o que é o que ali em cima. Postarei as indicações de receitas apenas com os trabalhos terminados.

Peguei uma gripe terrível na semana passada, motivo pelo qual as coisas andaram mais devagar aqui no blog. Mas agora que já estou melhorando, voltarei a postar com mais frequência.

Instead I finish the older projects, I keep starting new ones. This is why I'm posting WIP's today, and not FO's. I usually knit a part of one of them by day.

Some of them are closer to the end than others.

Tudora and Hot Chocolate are almost done.

For the Babette Blanket, I still have to crochet 23 more little squares to start the sewing part.

Roses in the Snow Shawl and the Red Pepper Jacket are half done, and half to do.

I just started Non-Silk Kerchief these days.

But the Log Cabin Rug I'm almost givin' up to keep on.

Probably I'll finish Tudora's first, because it's a little project. It's also possible to see it this week around here.

All these progects are on my Ravelry page. You can go there if you wanna see the patterns, because I'm just gonna post it with the FO's.

I got a terrible flu last week, and because it things move slowly around here. But now I'm getting better, I'll back keep posting more often.

Decepcionada... / Disappointed...

Tá bem, não é uma enorme decepção, mas... o suficiente pra me deixar chateada.

.

Eu tinha uma receita de um casaco legal favoritada no Ravelry. Um casaco pesadão, feito com agulha 8mm. Então eu precisava de um fio suficientemente grosso pra tricotar com essa agulha.

Pesquisei, pesquisei...

Fiquei entre 2 fios: Pingouin Marte e Pingouin Paratapet.

Acabei optando pelo Pingouin Marte por achar que o Paratapet não seria adequado para vestuário...

.

Bem feliz, comprei de cara 9 novelos de Pingouin Marte (detalhe: eu nunca tinha trabalhado com este fio), e comprei pela internet ainda, sem nunca tê-lo visto ou tocado nele... (é isso que a ansiedade faz com uma pessoa).

Quando o fio chegou, eu achei ele "meio estranho", mas resolvi não tirar conclusões precipitadas.

Comecei a tricotar. A cada ponto que eu faço, mais temerosa eu fico.

A cor é maravilhosa, certamente o casaco ficará bonito.

.

Qual o problema então??

.

O problema é que este é um fio supergrosso e sem torção. Ao olhar, parece ser um algodão doce.

E, por causa disso, a sensação que eu tenho é que quando eu usá-lo terei que ter o maior cuidado: não poderei me encostar em qualquer lugar, deverá ser lavado com o maior cuidado, máquina de lavar, jamais! Acho que até o cinto de segurança do carro pode fazer meu casaco embolotar!!!

.

Vou terminar o casaco, claro.

Só acho que ele não vai durar bonitinho por muito tempo.

Ai gente, que ódio de mim....

Tô arrependida de não ter comprado a paratapet!!!!!

Ok, that's not a huge disappointment, but enough to let me go mad.

I had a cool jacket pattern on my Ravelry Favorites, that requires 8mm needles. So, I search a compatible yarn here in Brazil to knit it.

After that, I was between two yarns: Pingouin Marte and Pingouin Paratapet.

I ended up choosing Pingouin Marte.

.

Very happy, I opened a page on the internet and bought 9 skeins of Pingouin Marte (and I never knitted with this yarn before)...

When it arrived, the yarn seemed stranged to me, but I decided to test before saying something.

I started knitting whit it. And more I knit, more fearful I feel.

The color is lovely, for sure it will be a beautiful jacket.

.

So, where is the problem???

.

The problem is this is one of that yarns that you cannot pull in anything, because it can mess it all.

My feeling is that when I wear it, I'll have to take care about evey wall, chair, table, when I move around. I think that even the car safety belt can ruin my jacket!!!

.

I'm going to finish it, and wear it, of course...

I just don't know how long it will last in good condition.

.

I so hate myself...

I feel sorry for not have choosen the Pingouin Paratapet yarn instead this one!!!!

Sigo firme crochetando os quadrados...

Os maiores (que são os mais demorados) estão quase prontos. Depois vai faltar apenas os pequenos, os quais eu já fiz alguns para aproveitar os restinhos dos novelos.

Além da Babette, estão também em andamento: Corona Sweater, Tapete em Log Cabin, meu Xale em Lace, uma boina Rose Red. Mas admito que no momento estou dando uma atenção maior à Babette.

.

Fiz também uma compra astronômica no site do Bazar Horizonte, para aproveitar a promoção de frete grátis este mês... Um total de 34 novelos, divididos entre: Pingouin Marte, Pingouin Safira e Pingouin Desejo. Já saiu de lá o pacotão, mas ainda não chegou.

.

Louca, eu? Imagina....

The bigger ones (that takes more time) are almost done. And after it, I'll have to finish the little ones, that I already made some to use the leftovers.

At the same time, I have some other projects in progress: Corona Sweater, Log Cabin Rug, Gail Shawl, Rose Red Beret. But I confess that I put Babette as my priority project this moment.

Babette Blanket - Part I

Então... foi para este projeto que eu resolvi aprender crochet.

Para quem está inscrito no Ravelry, é só procurar por "Babette Blanket" que vocês poderão ver os lindos trabalhos feitos a partir deste projeto.

Desde que eu entrei no Ravelry, acho até que foi no primeiro dia, eu achei essa manta. Fiquei completamente apaixonada pelo projeto, mas, como não sabia crochet e não queria aprender, não comprei a receita naquele momento (sim, é uma receita paga).

.

Quase 1 ano depois, tomei coragem e resolvi aprender. Tudo bem, tem muitas mantas bonitas em tricot, mas confesso que nenhuma me atraiu tanto quanto esta em crochet.

.

Assim que paguei e obtive a receita, me apavorei com a quantidade de quadrados que eu ia ter que crochetar... Nos meus cálculos, 126 no total... divididos em 6 tamanhos diferentes...

Quase caí dura. Não faço a menor idéia de quanto tempo vou levar pra fazer isso tudo, ainda mais eu, que começo vários trabalhos ao mesmo tempo.

É um projeto tão bonito, estou rezando para que eu não enjoe dele e acabe deixando de lado...

.

A vantagem da manta de crochet é que você faz os quadrados e vai guardando, enquanto no tricot, quando começa a ficar grande, o peso do trabalho atrapalha um pouco.

A desvantagem fca por ter que emendar esse monte de quadradinhos!!!

.

Queria muito terminá-la para este inverno ainda, mas não sei... não sei...

.

Estou usando fio Pingouin Desejo, nas 5 cores acima (sisal, fiesta, seiva, fresh, love speel) e agulha n° 4mm

So... this is the project that encouraged me to learn crochet.

You can search on Ravelry by "Babette Blanket" to see lots of beautiful projects of it.

Since I became part of Ravelry I wanted to crochet this blanket. I just fall in love for that, but I didn't know how to crochet so I decided to wait some time.

.

Almost a year later, I decided to learn crochet to do this blanket. Ok, there are many knitting beautiful blankets, but I confess that none attracted me as much as this in crochet.

.

At the time I read the pattern, I got really scared: 126 squares divide in 6 different sizes. Oh God!!! That's too much!!!

I have no idea how much time I'll get to do all that... And I always have lots of projects in progress...

It's a so beautiful project. I'm praying I don't get tired of it.

.

The advantage of this blanket is that you do it in little pieces, different from knitting, that the work keep growing...

The bad part is that you have to sew it all together.

.

I would like to finish it for this winter, but I don't know if I have time, because our winter starts in July, and it's starting to get cold already.

.

I'm using the Yarn Pingouin Desejo in 5 different colors (sisal, fiesta, seiva, fresh, love speel), and 4mm hook.

Vocês podem imaginar o quão empolgada estou.

Esta foto é de quando recém tinha terminado a primeira parte dele.

No momento ele tem + 2 repetições prontas.

O dia oficial de início foi 17/04/2009.

Como eu dificilmente tricoto em finais de semana, está demorando um pouco...

Quero ver quanto tempo vou levar.

Eu queria fazer ao menos 1 repetição da receita por dia, mas quem já tricotou xale sabe que o número de pontos aumenta a cada repetição, então... não prometo nada!

.

Posteriormente, farei uma nova postagem com o Xale pronto e indicação da receita.

...my first lace shawl!!!

You can imagine how excited I am.

I took this picture when I finished the first part, but now it has + 2 more repeats.

I've started knitting it on April 17, 2009.

I usually don't knit on weekends, and because it this project is going slowly

I would like to knit every day one repeat at least. But if you had already knitted a shawl, you know that the quantity of stitches increase almost every row, so... I cannot promisse anything.

.

When I finish the shaw, I'll post the pictures of it and link to the pattern.

Comecei ontem este Casaquinho de Bebê, com 1 fio de Bella e Agulhas n° 3... haja paciência!!

O trabalho que eu parei por causa do casaquinho: o tão famoso "Utopia Hat"

Outra Sundance Make-up Bag, já fora das agulhas, mas sem costuras e sem botão...

Um tapete em log cabin para o meu quarto, o qual fui obrigada a parar até conseguir agulha circular n° 5 de 80cm. Vai ter que ser pela internet mesmo, pq aqui eu não acho. Ódio mesmo.

Bem gente, estes são alguns dos meus trabalhos em andamento, confesso que o que mais eu quero ver pronto é o tapete, não só porque gostei de fazê-lo, mas porque preciso urgentemente dele, antes que a cadeira nova arranhe todo o tablado de madeira!!!

Postarei os trabalhos um a um quando estiverem finalizados, com as indicações das devidas receitas.

Olhei bem o site do Elo 7, achei muito legal e vou abrir uma conta paga lá, para ser vendedor pro. Vou vender não só algumas receitas (a preço baixo e justo, prometo), mas também muitas peças, pois eu vou tricotando e vai empilhando, porque não vendê-las então?

Não se preocupem, de vez em quando postarei receitas free sim. =D

Olhei no Ravelry também, para vender as receitas internacionalmente. Tenho que fazer um requerimento para primeiro ser cadastrada como designer e depois outro requerimento para vender. As receitas que eu já disponibilizei em português aqui, disponibilizarei em inglês lá, também free. Mas ainda tenho algumas dúvidas, pois o pagamento é via paypal lá, alguém sabe me dizer se eu recebo o pagamento já convertido em reais??? Não achei explicação pra isso ainda...

.

Pretendo que as duas coisas comecem a caminhar juntas a partir de abril. Mas é um prazo hipotético, pode ser que demore um pouco mais até eu me organizar.

Mandei fazer novas Tag's para o Sweet Tricot também. hehe... posto quando chegarem =D
